Hi gang --

Walter Stafford is correct.  For ultrashort pathlength cells Wiener skewing 
is negligible.  For absorbance optics focal plane is not an 
issue.  Conclusion: if you want to do really high concentration studies, do 
them in ultrashort pathlength cells with absorption optics.  For the 
record, interested parties might want to check out a very old study by Marc 
Lewis and myself (Biophys. Chem. 14, 317-24; 1981) in which we measured the 
sedimentation equilibrium of hemoglobin and myoglobin at concentrations of 
up to about 375 g/l.  Is that concentrated enough for you?
