torque stand

Hey everybody,
Here's a new one. Fortunately, there's no theory involved. Somebody broke
the handle off of our torque stand. Apparently it wasn't gripping tightly
and needed "just a little bit" of extra pressure. Any ideas on what to do
while I'm waiting for Beckman to get back to me?
