Effect of TFE
Good afternoon, everyone,
Just a thought -
Despite its mystical ability to turn just about anything into an alpha
helix, TFE suffers from the fact that its density is high - ca. 1.4. This
complicates all sorts of things and, in particular, makes it difficult to
obtain useful UC data at high TFE concentrations. This is particularly true
for small peptides.
