Borries, your idea is good in principle, but I think people would be hesitant to
publish in such a venue, because, at least in the beginning, such papers would not
be regarded as authentic publications -- in the words of Rodney Dangerfield, they
would "get no respect.".  Moreover, at least initially, they would not be cited in
the large reference data bases (ISI, Medline, Chemical Abstracts), so a publication
in such a venue would not be visible to or called to the attention of the larger
scientific community  --  those not regularly reading the RASMB online jounal.
