	It is with a sad heart that I send you the news of Mike's passing.
He lost his two year battle with lung cancer yesterday in Chapel Hill, North 
Carolina. He will be returned to Australia for burial. Sympathy cards may be
sent to his father:

His death is a tragic loss for both his friends and the field.
