SDS-protein complex
I would appreciate if someone can direct me toward a few refrences for
evaluating protein-SDS complex in solution by analytical
ultracentrifugation. The refrences I have found are in foriegn journals
and am still waiting for them to arrive. I am looking to determine the
molecular weight of a tetrameric protein in 2% SDS for a boiled and
nonboiled samples. Our protein runs as a dimer band in a nonboiled
SDS-PAGE smaple buffer and as a monomeric band when the sample buffer is
boiled for 10 min. The protein is very stable and denatures only at
95-102 oC depending on the mutant used.
Any suggestions will be highly appreciated.
Thanks
