Re: SPIKES
I didn't get a chance to look at the spikes myself, but we experienced
a similar phenomenon. Say, during a velocity run, the runs would start
out nice, but then would start collecting what basically was noise in
the forms of spikes across the entire scan.
It turns out that the EPROM was to blame. Our service engineer, Dennis
Foyt, tracked the problem down. We had the "latest and greatest" EPROMs
but in, but once we switched back to the "old" one (I don't recall what
version number it was), the spikes went away and everything has
worked fine since.
You might try contacting Dennis Foyt @ Beckman and see if he thinks
your problem might also be related to the EPROM.
