I agree with John's assessment, but why not also (& I mean also) do sed
equil at varying ratios to establish the limiting MW - its another piece
of the puzzle, still has the vbar uncertainty, but lacks the shape
complexity.  Numerous issues (conservation of mass among them) &
references to concider, including one by John.
