Re: expensive gaskets
We had our workshop make up the handheld version of Richard Thomas' die
mounted in a press. Our die is in two parts - an outer part to cut the
ring
and an inner part that cuts out the sectors. Seems to work fine if it is
kept sharp and you cut the plastic over a piece of wood of 'intermediate'
hardness.
The gaskets are certainly not reusable if they have been spun at high
speed.
