RE: Active enzyme centrifugation

Juan Pablo,

I assume you mean the Type 1 "direct transfer" band-forming
centerpieces. These are indeed available in charcoal epon from
Beckman, part # 331359. I priced them recently and they are $1000 in
the US.

Subject: Active enzyme centrifugation

Dear RASMBers:

I am interested in doing some experiments of "active enzyme
centrifugation" in the analytical centrifuge (an Optima XL-A), but I
haven't found the centerpiece in any catalogue. I searched the
Ultracentrifuge Beckman page but the search was unsuccessful. I am
writing to see if someone can give this information to get this
centerpiece. Thank you for your help.

Best wishes to all.

Juan Pablo
