metals and vbar

Hi Everyone,
I have a question about metalloproteins. Is it known what the effect of
coordinated metals is on vbar for proteins? We are working on zinc finger
proteins and I am not sure whether it is valid to simply calculate vbar
from the amino acid composition. I have seen a couple of papers on zinc
protein AU, and the vbar in both cases is calculated directly from the AA
composition.
Any advice or knowledge of suitable references would be appreciated.
