optical nightmare

Dear RASMBers

I have a minor emergency I'm hoping someone can help with.
After a routine lamp clean on our XL-A we saw that the peaks in the holmium
oxide scan were more than the prescribed ±4nm out of kilter with what they
should be.

So I set about calibrating the optics to get them back in line.
I have followed a set of instructions that I had access to but I think
these might be for a different version of the XL-A software (I am still
using version 1.0 or 1.01 or something). Is there anyone there who could
advise me how to do the calibration?

The urgency of this arises from the sample we have waiting to go into the
AUC- its a bit unstable and is degrading as I write!

Thanks in advance for any help-

Olwyn Byron.
