TFE
Good afternoon everyone,
We've used 25% TFE (v/v in aqueous buffer) for overnight equilibrium runs
without any apparent damage to charcoal-filled epon or kelF centrepieces.
There may be long term effects of which I am not yet aware....)
However, beware - rho(TFE) is approximately 1.4, so you may run into
buoyancy problems at higher concentrations.
Hope this helps
Richard
