RE: aluminum centerpieces
Virgil et al.,
As a follow-on to Claus, I wanted to add that I have routinely used
charcoal-epon centerpieces at 60K rpm. I probably logged over 100 runs at
60K without breakage (Claus is right, if they don't leak, they don't break).
Furthermore, in my experience the aluminum centerpieces can actually induce
aggregation of certain proteins!
