organic solvents

Dear RASMBers

I have three quick questions to ask those of you who perform AUC runs in
organic solvents. This is something I've never done before and its hard to
find literature on it specifically.

1. Is it OK to do runs in either chloroform or dichloromethane in the XL-A?

2. If so which is preferable?

3. Are there any specific precautions I should take (eg should I only use
Aluminium centrepieces or perhaps Kel-F ones)?

Any other advice is more than welcome.

Thanks as always,
Olwyn Byron.
