Timasheff has published & referenced on this:
1. Na & Timasheff in Methods in Enzymol vol 117, p 459-495 (1985)
2. Schachman "Ultracentrifugation in Biochemistry, Academic Press, 1959
3. Trujillo & Deal Biochemistry 16, 3098 (1977)
Globular proteins have typical values of 0.01 - 0.04 ml/gm. Tubulin has a
value of 0.018 ml/gm. Your value seems high?
