Light Scattering Position Available

Hello to you all, wherever you may be

Prof. P.L. Luisi (Supramolecular Chemistry, Polymer Institute, ETH Zürich,
Switzerland) is looking for a light scattering expert. He/she should be
able to carry out independent research on
vesicular and liposomal systems, using dynamic and static LS,
in collaboration with the other group members, who are mostly chemists. The
research is chemically/biologically oriented and not purely physical
chemistry, per se. LS is used within the group as a tool for the study
of the
structure and properties of vesicular systems including size distribution
curves as a function of various paramters, micelle-vesicle transformation,
and the growth and self-reproduction of liposomal systems.
The position potentially can be adjusted to suit the applicant, and
enquiries would be welcome from technical staff as well as academic.
The position/salary will depend on the experience/age of the candidate, and
the length of employment is negotiable up to a miximum of 5 years.
Anyone who may be interested in this post should write, initially
informally, to: <luisi@ifp.mat.ethz.ch>

Festive greetings
Richard
