From an old fan of AUC.

Dear RASMBers;
I am happy, even moved, knowing from Dr. Philo's messages to our club that
Fujita-MacCosham's solution to the Lamm equation is still alive. It was
the product 40 years ago when I was a postdoc and MacCosham a graduate
student at the University of Wisconsin. MacCosham died early, but he
should be remembered for a very essential contribution that he made at
Beckman in Palo Alto for the development of stop-flow apparatuses.
I would appreciate if someone in our club teaches me relevant review
articles summarizing
recent advances on the theory of sedimentation in chemically reacting
systems. Though
too aged to do research any more, I want to learn what has been done on
this interesting
subject since I touched on it in one chapter of my book "Foundations of
Ultracentrifugal
Analysis" (wiley, 1975).
