Sedimentation Velocity Workshop at the Biophysical SocietyMeetings
A workshop entitled "Advances in Sedimentation Velocity Analysis"
will be held on Tuesday, February 20th, at the 1996 Biophysical Society
Meetings in Baltimore, MD. The workshop is being held in honor of David
Yphantis's 65th birthday, and the talks will describe papers which are
being compiled for publication in the Biophysical Journal.
The agenda for the workshop is:
Speaker Time
Walter Stafford 7:30-7:55
Title: "High Sensititivy Sedimentation Velocity Analysis
Using the Time Derivative Method and Signal Averaging:
Application to Interacting Sytems at Low Concentration"
Walter Machtle 7:55-8:20
Title: "Particle Size Distribution Analysis using Gravitational-sweep
Sedimentation"
John Philo 8:20-8:45
Title: "Direct Fitting of Boundaries Significantly Broadened by
Diffusion Using Approximate Solutions of the Lamm Equation"
Jeffrey Hansen 8:45-9:10
Title: "Sedimentation Velocity Boundaries, Diffusion, and
Complex Macromolecular Systems"
Olwyn Byron 9:10-9:35
Title: "Modeling Conformation and Interactions Using Sedimentation
Velocity data"
Henryk Eisenberg 9:35-10:00
Title: "Studying Solute-Solvent Interactions by the Ultracentrifuge"
