Dear razmic,

These seem to be a fact of life on the XL-A. My software (recent
versions (dcdt.exe amd dcdt.mac) given out at the UCONN workshop last
spring) have the ability to remove those spikes and replace them with a
dummy point created by interpolating from the 2 adjacent points.

If you are using other software, you will have to do the interpolation
manually with an editor.

Good luck,

Walter
