Meeting on Advances in AUC

Dear RASMBers

There will be a session on Advances in Analytical Ultracentri-
fugation held at the BIOS97 conference in San Jose Feb 8-14th at the
meeting of International Society of Optical Engineers (S.P.I.E.)

The SPIE has a web page devoted to the Ultrasensitive Clinical Diagnostics
conference of BIOS97 of which this session will be a part.

Connect to the following URL to see the program listing:

There will be presentations of applications of equilibrium and velocity
sedimentation to various systems as well as an assessment by David Yphantis
of the Rayleigh optical system on the new XL-I analytical ultracentrifuge
released by Beckman earlier this year. We will also have a look into the
future with a presentation by Tom Laue of a prototypical fluorescence
optical system for the XL-A/XL-I centrifuges.
