sapphire windows- help

Dear all,
We have just taken delivery of an XLI and thus need to buy some sapphire
windows.  Beckman retails them for #555 sterling. I remember somebody
mentioning that there is a company in New England (Rhode Island?) which has
them at a considerably reduced price.  Does anyone know the company and
phone or address?  I would appreciate the help.
Alternatively,(and naively) can one run the XLI with quartz windows?
While I'm at it, where does one get 8 sector centrepieces?  Beckman does
not have them.
