six channel centerpieces
In the past we have done a lot of equilibrium runs with the xla.
In our old model E centrifuge we used the six channel equilibrium
centerpieces with beckman catalog number 332525 and 331376. The cell
housings at that time have the beckman catalog number 305552.
If we now use those cells in our XLA we frequently have problems with the
third compartment (= the compartment nearest to the bottom of the cell).
The obtained results from this compartment are unreliable.
We therefor consider to buy new cells, especially developed for the xla
for using six channel centerpieces.
My question now is:
1) Can we still use the old six channel centerpieces from the model E, just
put them in the new cell housing with beckman catalog number 334784, or
do we also need to buy new centerpieces.
2) Persons using those new cells with the six hole centerpieces are they
satisfied about the obtained results with those cells, specially the
third compartment?
Thanking you in advance,
