TWENTY SECOND ANNUAL LORNE CONFERENCE ON PROTEIN STRUCTURE AND FUNCTION
9th-13th February 1997
Contents
SCIENTIFIC PROGRAM
As far as possible sessions are organised for the morning and evening of each day leaving the afternoons free for recreation and informal discussion. The program consists of oral and poster sessions, informal workshops around specific themes and company-sponsored workshops.
Oral sessions encompass themes of particular importance to protein science and are arranged around one or more keynote speakers; a limited number of submitted communications relevant to the major themes may be included. Communications on any aspect of protein structure and function are encouraged.
Planning is underway to make a video recording of some of the conference oral/poster sessions for a presentation on the internet. Please tick the video permission box on the Abstract form if you are prepared to allow your abstract and/or presentation to be available via the internet.
THEMES FOR THE 1997 CONFERENCE ARE:
Protein Folding Architecture of Regulation
Membrane Trafficking/Vesicular Transport Apoptosis
Ribosome Biogenesis Protein Structure
Therapeutic Uses of Synthetic Peptides Protein Fluorescence
Peptidase/Protease Inhibitors as Therapeutic Targets Ion Channels
Cell Adhesion Molecules/Adhesion Receptor Signalling
