RE- Ancilliary Measurements

RE- Ancilliary Measurements

I have a menu-driven program in 'C' for the computation of
densities and vbars using the data given in Laue et al in
Analytical Ultracentrifugation in Biochem. and Polymer
Science. This was written for home consumption and is not
particularly user-friendly when it comes to the introduction
of new data as it uses a non-standard database structure.
Anyone is welcome to a copy - it definitely could do with
testing by a third party. On the other hand I understand that
Tom Laue (are you there Tom?) has written a similar program
that runs under windows and uses a standard database.
Might it make sense to use one of these programs as the
basic depository for all available data, both old and new?
Preferably Tom's, so that he can deal with all the hard work,
complaints etc. Is this why he's being so quiet on the
subject?

Does anyone have any density data on trifluoroethanol in
water/aqueous buffers? If not, I hope to make some
measurements soon.

All the best to you all
Richard
