I would appreciate it if you could mail this message out on your mailing list.

Thanks, -Borries

********************************************************************************

Hello,
I have uploaded a demo version (MS-DOS only) of the UltraScan Sedimentation
velocity/equilibrium data analysis program to my anonymous ftp archive. The
program is stored at bioc02.uthscsa.edu (129.111.1.229) in the directory
/pub/UltraScan/demo/us_arc.exe

This directory contains the UltraScan demo program. This program is freely
available and you are encouraged to share it with others.

While the full UltraScan release is a Windows/Origin based software package,
several functions are disabled or not implemented in the demo version.

This program is intended for use with the Beckman Optima XL-A TM Analytical
Ultracentrifuge. The program allows you to edit, view and analyze sedimentation
velocity and equilibrium data obtained from the XL-A.

To download the program, use binary ftp transfer mode. Copy the program into
it's own subdirectory on your MS-DOS computer and type us_arc.

The program is a self-extracting archive and will extract all necessary files
into this directory.

Start the program by typing "usdemo" at your system prompt.
